Sarawak once was under the colonization of James Brooke and British Administration is now the biggest state in Malaysia. Sarawak not only rich for its natural resources but also its ethnics diversity. Visiting to Borneo Cultural Village which is located 20km away from city allow me to get closer and understand better the ethnic group in Sarawak ; They are Iban, Kelabit, Penan, Melanau, Kayan, Melay and Chinese. Each ethnic group has its own cultural practices and celebrations.
Bako National Park in Kuching Sarawak has become a popular tourist spot for its nature and scenic view. One can enjoy the sun bathing by the sea side and extreme jungle trekking where trekkers are exposed to various kind of wild life and flora. I went there with my friends and spend three days two nights to discover the island. The facilities are good as well as cafe food.
