It is an amazing discovery that, the craftsmanship is highly delicate and fine yet not forgotten to depict as a symbol of Buddha. It is colourful and striking in colour painted with red and gold. In Chinese community, red colour refers to goodness while gold colour refers to wealth. in Buddhist religion, Lotus Flower or Water Lily is a symbol of freedom. This refers again to the lotus being in perfect relationship with its surroundings - totally within the world without being mired or touched by it. In a word "Harmony" Buddhist scripture describe "the lotus in the heart", the resting place of Atman, the soul. From this centre, like the petals of the lotus opening to the light of the sun, beams the light of the soul.
