The instant noodle companies are very smart by promoting their products through such competition in the secondary school... and guess what, these kids will be spending a few more years away from home or in college eating these instant noodles everyday. Believe me, I stay in Subang and nearby there are more the 10 colleges with these kids and when we go for grocery, you can see these kids buying boxes of the same stuff weekly ...
Nothing wrong with instant noodles and I still love them today and sometimes "Maggie Goreng" at Mamak stalls. And I spent 4 years in college cooking them in the most bizzare and different ways possible.. and that was 30 years ago !!!
